Taught by pediatric Physical Therapist, Steph Luft Novacek, this workshop provides the opportunity to learn how to therapeutically apply touch to young babies & children to facilitate bonding, reduce anxiety, improve sleep patterns, regulate the sensory system & help with overall child development.
The workshop also incorporates gentle rhythmic movements that help to connect a child’s brain & body for healthy development & relaxation. Various therapeutic play positions & activities will also be shared to help incorporate these techniques into a child’s day in an accepting & enjoyable manner.
The workshop is open to professionals, therapists & educators who work with young children of all abilities in all settings including childcare centers, homes, schools or medical facilities.
Workshop will provide 6.5 continuing education credits (to be submitted at attendee’s discretion).
EARLY BIRD registration fee is $135 until Fri, Aug 18th. $150 after that date. Workshop is limited to 10.
