STEPHANIE NOVACEK, PT, DPT; CIMT, CFT CERTIFIED, RMTi CERTIFIED

Stephanie Novacek graduated from Creighton University Physical Therapy Program in May 2001 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Her experience in pediatrics has ranged from many pediatric settings including early intervention, schools, & outpatient hospital services.  In 2015, she shifted to private practice to focus on incorporation of holistic wellness care for babies & children, including diagnoses such as torticollis, prematurity, tongue/lip tie restrictions, cerebral palsy, & developmental delay just to name a few.

Stephanie is certified as an Infant & Pediatric Massage Instructor providing group & private workshops for families & care providers to learn the benefits of therapeutic touch for the healthy development of babies & children. She also specializes in reflex integration through Rhythmic Movement Training (RMTi) for babies & children of all ages and diagnoses.  Stephanie received certification for Infant, Child & Adult Cranialsacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) – the Gillespie Approach in the Summer of 2022.  Stephanie provides nutrition education for all ages, including fermented food classes/gut health workshops & guided grocery store tours for those wanting to learn more about how to improve their own health in a natural & cost-effective way!

Stephanie & her husband, Jon, are fulfilled with an active lifestyle as parents of 4 children (15 year old twins, 13 year old daughter, & 9 year old son) & enjoys being outdoors whether it be to tend to projects on their farm or gather around the firepit with family/friends.  She & her family currently reside on a 10-acre homestead where they enjoy fishing, raising farm animals, & gardening. Stephanie is the Director of Well Wilderness Kids Therapeutic NaturePlay Center that offers nature-based programs & therapies for children of all ages & abilities in collaboration with other pediatric professionals & educators.

She is passionate about continuing to expand her knowledge about natural prevention & is eager to share this invaluable education with the intent to guide & inspire mothers & children to celebrate their health journey from womb to world!

ALLISON BARFIELD, OTR/L, CFT CERTIFIED, RMTi CERTIFIED, CERTIFIED HEALTH COACH

Allison graduated from the University of Missouri Occupational Therapy Program in 1995. Her experience has ranged from pediatrics, adults, to geriatrics in a variety of different settings. However, her passion lies in pediatrics. Allison has worked within pediatrics in the school setting, intensive therapy clinics and camps & private therapy. Allison has led multisensory handwriting camps for young children utilizing nature as a therapeutic setting. Allison spent many years as a stay-at-home mom while she continued to practice Occupational Therapy. When she discovered Well Bellies & Babies, she immediately knew this would be a perfect fit for the next chapter in her career. 

Allison has committed to serving as a lifelong learner. She is always seeking out training & learning opportunities to further her skills as an Occupational Therapist. Some of her trainings includes Sensory Integration, Brain Gym, Reflex Integration, Cranial Sacral Therapy (CST), Cranialsacral Fascial Therapy (CFT), Pediatric Feeding, Tethered Oral Tissues, Oral Motor Dysfunction, & Nutrition. 

She is certified in Rhythmic Movement Training (RMTi), Infant/Child/Adult Cranialsacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) – Gillespie Approach & has achieved a Health Coach certification from the Institute on Integrative Nutrition. 

Allison & her husband Todd live in Lake Quivira. They have one son (Alex) who attends KU & a daughter (Anna) who is a senior at SMNW High School. They also have 3 family pets, a dog (Marley) & 2 cats (Oreo and Callie).

Allison loves the outdoors. She also serves as a Learning Ally for the Well Wilderness Kids NaturePlay Team.  She enjoys gardening, hiking, biking & playing PickleBall. 

KAITLYN TENNANT, RN, WELLNESS COORDINATOR                

Kaitlyn Tennant graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing from Graceland University in 2016. Her experience is in Transplant Care and Advanced Heart Failure as well as Primary Care/Reproductive Health for Teens.  Kaitlyn has experience in fitness as a personal trainer as well as a Sports & Exercise Nutrition Certification. During pregnancy, she began to grow an interest in Prenatal & Postpartum Health & Fitness & holds a specialty exercise certification in this field.

Kaitlyn & her husband, Kyle, have one son, & 2 dogs. They love traveling to ball games & being outdoors. The Tennant Family advocates for Congenital Heart Defects, Heart Health & Stroke Awareness, & Organ Donation.
