☆☆☆ A Nature-Based Music Playgroup
Join us for a fun and interactive music group in nature! This evidence-based program offers children an opportunity to build healthy social relationships, while enhancing the development of early communication, physical, emotional, and social skills.
Each session will allow children structured outdoor music time, as well as, a unique opportunity to explore music in the natural world! You may find us building drums, listening to the wind in the trees, or writing songs with the animals! Parents will have the opportunity to share their child’s developmental goals which will help to actively shape the focus of the playgroup to meet the needs of each child.
Music groups are led by Pediatric, Board-Certified Music Therapist, Kristi Hanson of Stepping Stones KC, trained in adapting music to fit the needs of each individual child, facilitate healthy attachments, and build early developmental skills.
The Fall Season 6-Week Series will begin on Thurs, Sept 21st thru Oct 26th from 1030am-1130am.
Registration for the 6-Week Series is $120 or $25 for each individual session. The playgroup is open to all children of all abilities up to 6 years of age. Playgroup is limited to 10 children. Parents/caregivers are welcome to attend!
