Provide your child the opportunity to connect with nature & other children in a therapeutic way this Fall/Winter!

A growing body of research suggests that psychological and physical health improve for children when they spend time in nature on a regular basis. The Well Wilderness Kids Therapeutic Playgroups allow children to benefit from nature from a developmental perspective, including but not limited to gross/fine motor skills, visual processing, tactile, & social-emotional. The goal is for each child to experience movement & therapeutic play through all of the senses.

These 4-week playgroups will provide your child an opportunity to interact & play in a manner that will foster development of physical, social & emotional skills in an environment that is therapeutically structured yet allows a child to naturally learn & interact within their own individual comfort level. Some of the activities will include creating art with nature, circle social time with nature stories/music, zipline/climbing/swinging, & therapeutic touch.

Each playgroup session is limited to 8 children to allow for a small therapeutic ratio. The playgroup will be led by a pediatric Physical Therapist & Occupational Therapist &/or Early Interventionist specialized in providing therapeutic intervention for children diagnosed with ADHD, autism & other sensory processing disorders.
